Scientiam
Established since 2001, Scientiam is one of the North West’s fastest growing providers of quality
training. Scientiam contracts with the Merseyside Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to deliver a
range of Government funded schemes working with some of the North West’s leading employers from
international blue chip organisations to sole traders. Located on the Wirral, Scientiam work with a
number of strategic partners to provide people with the most up-to-date qualifications, raise the skills
base of workforces and ensure employers have the most motivated and up-skilled staff both now and for
the future.
The training is bespoke to meet individual business needs and is made convenient to both employer and the employees. All employers and employee are supported by Workforce Development Advisors (WDA’s), who are responsible for conducting organisational needs analysis and responsible for the delivery and co-ordination of the programme. The WDA’s originate from an industry background, so have relevant experience within their sector, and become the one point of contact for all parties. All WDA’s ensure they are up-to-date with industry norms through the attendance of key sector events, sector skills websites and using their industry knowledge.
Scientiam have obtained the Investors in People (IIP) Award, have the ‘Matrix standard’ to their name, and have recently been recognised for being a good practice work-based learning provider by the government led Quality Improvement Agency (QIA).
