ESOL – English for Speakers of Other Languages

These Skills for Life qualifications are designed to support the needs of workers who do not have English as their first language.

They may face additional barriers at work and addressing the language issue will help employers make better use of their experience and skills.

Specialised courses are available for adult learners over the age of 16 and funded training is available for all those who are entitled to UK residency, including those from the countries of the enlarged EU.

Training can take place in the workplace and be specifically oriented to job-related needs.
