The SkillWorks programme is based on a training needs analysis which helps us identify your needs and come up with recommendations for solutions.
Training partners are not restricted to providing any specific type of training, but each one does have particular strengths. The training partners may also, at their discretion, sub–contract to specialist trainers in order to ensure businesses receive the highest quality training.

Asset Training was established in 1996 to provide IT training for unemployed
adults and has developed and increased its portfolio to offer a wide range
of training services including helping companies to identify training needs
and providing training to increase their efficiency and competitiveness in
the marketplace.

The Halton Business and Workforce Development Partnership is a consortium of SkillWorks training organisations. It is a well-established provider of training with a proven track record and is able to offer training in most disciplines and business sectors. If a member of the partnership cannot accommodate the training it will be arranged with an appropriate outside body.

As a major supplier of education, training and consultancy services in the North West, Knowsley Associates draws upon a vast pool of expertise. Laird Foundation
The Laird Foundation provides practical skills training to support the business growth of companies in the Maritime and Port related Sectors. Liverpool Chamber of Commerce
The Liverpool Chamber of Commerce has some 1600 commercial members, employing around 150,000 people. The scope for identifying and assessing training needs and then either delivering or brokering customised training is huge.

Liverpool Community College is working in partnership with local agencies to meet the needs of employers and local communities.

Liverpool John Moores
Liverpool John Moores University (JMU) is a modern forward thinking university committed to developing a whole range of commercial and social partnerships for the benefit of students, staff and the wider community.
As well as providing networking events and a specialised mentoring scheme, JMU offers high quality accredited management and staff development training programmes. Sector focused courses include environmental awareness, management and food industry seminars.
JMU also offers one day courses on topics such as business planning, financial management, team leader training and recruitment and selection.
Media Training North West
Media Training North West is part of the media industry in the north-west and its aim is to equip people with the necessary skills to compete in a 21st century multi-media landscape. MTNW is approved by Skillset, the Sector Skills Council for the Audio Visual Industries, which guarantees all clients receive professional, high quality industry-recognised training and development.

NVQ Training and Consultancy Services Ltd
NVQ Training and Consultancy Services Ltd was founded in 1997 to deliver training and consultancy services throughout the United Kingdom.
Its focus is within the care sector and is linked to government training priorities and initiatives. The organisation also delivers customised workshops, consultancy services and training to support developmental targets and requirements within organisations.
North West Training Council
NWTC is a well-respected training organisation that combines the provision of high quality practical Engineering and Construction training, together with industry standard Health & Safety training courses.
We can help organisations identify their training needs, and help their employees reach their full potential which can demonstrate measurable returns on their training investment. Courses can be delivered at our training centre or can be tailored to suit individual company needs.
Partnership for Learning (PfL)
Located in a modern purpose-built facility just five minutes away from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Partnership for Learning (PfL) offers a wide range of demand-led training for business. As well as specialist training in skilled trades such as gas and electrics, PfL offers courses in financial management, IT, customer care, sales and marketing, health and safety, employment law and much more. Training is tailored to each client’s needs and can be delivered on-site, on-line or at PfL itself.
Software Generation
Software Generation provides a comprehensive service to users of IT in the North West. With centres on the Liverpool waterfront, Hoylake, Preston and Glasgow it works with employers to help them get the best from their IT.

Wirral Metropolitan College
At Wirral Metropolitan College, workforce development is a priority and the college has many successful partnerships with a network of local employers. It provides bespoke training to help employers develop their workforce, including the recruitment and training of apprenticeships through the Apprenticeship training provider, Scientiam.
Wirral Met is working with a partnership of private training providers who are proven in their specialist fields as consistent deliverers of high quality training and development packages.
