TRAINING THAT FITS WITH YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS
Established by the Learning and Skills Council, the Train to Gain service provides impartial, independent advice on training to businesses.
What will Train to Gain offer my business?
Train to Gain is a service designed to help businesses, like yours, get the training they need to succeed. It aims to drive up the nation’s skills by tackling historic barriers to training, such as cost and time. Access to a wider network of business support services can also be provided.
Who will deliver Train to Gain?
Train to Gain gives you access to a Skills Broker who will:
- offer free impartial
and independent advice;
- carry out a needs
analysis of training within your business and help you assess what
skills your business has now and what you will need in the future;
- match any training
needs identified with training providers;
- help you find
available funding;
- ensure that training is delivered to meet your business needs.
The local and regional network of Skills Brokers has a proven track record of providing an effective service to businesses.
How is it funded?
The Skills Brokerage service is free for employers and is funded through the LSC. Some elements of the training delivered by Train to Gain will attract subsidised funding from government.
Is my business eligible?
The Train to Gain service is available to every business, regardless of size.
